Acceptable use policy

What may and may not be sold through Dzra. This policy forms part of the terms of service, and applies to every store on the platform.

Last updated 13 August 2026. This document is offered in English and is governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana.

1. Why this exists

Dzra is a shared platform sitting behind a payment provider and a card scheme. One store selling something prohibited puts every other merchant’s ability to take payment at risk. The list below is a mixture of what Ghanaian law forbids and what our payment partners will not process.

2. What may not be sold

  • Anything unlawful to sell or possess in Ghana.
  • Firearms, ammunition, explosives, weapons and their parts.
  • Narcotics and controlled substances, including cannabis and products marketed as legal substitutes, and drug paraphernalia.
  • Prescription medicines, unapproved pharmaceuticals, and unlicensed supplements or treatments claiming to cure disease.
  • Counterfeit goods, replicas of branded items, and anything infringing another person’s trade mark or copyright.
  • Protected wildlife, ivory, endangered species and products made from them.
  • Human remains, organs and bodily fluids.
  • Stolen goods and items you have no right to sell.
  • Pornography and sexual services.
  • Tobacco, nicotine products, vapes and alcohol sold to minors.
  • Financial instruments, foreign-exchange trading, cryptocurrency, lending, insurance and investment schemes.
  • Gambling, lotteries, betting and games of chance.
  • Pyramid schemes, multi-level marketing, get-rich-quick programmes and cash-gifting arrangements.
  • Personal data, mailing lists, hacking tools, account credentials and surveillance devices.
  • Charitable or political fundraising, which needs a route we do not currently support.

If you are not sure whether what you sell is allowed, ask us at support@dzra.com before you publish. We would far rather answer the question early.

3. Conduct we require

  • Describe goods truthfully. Photographs must be of what you are actually selling, or clearly marked as illustrative.
  • Show the full price. No fee may be added after payment that was not disclosed before it.
  • Ship what was paid for, within the time you led the customer to expect, and answer them when they ask where it is.
  • Do not use the platform to launder money, to test stolen cards, or to take payment for anything other than the goods listed on your store.
  • Do not impersonate another business, or use a store name or logo that suggests an association you do not have.
  • Do not misuse customer contact details obtained through your store — no reselling lists, no unsolicited bulk messaging.

4. Technical misuse

  • No attempt to access another merchant’s data, or any part of the system you have not been given access to.
  • No probing, scanning or load-testing the platform without our written permission, and no automated scraping of stores.
  • No uploading of malware, and no using a store to host unrelated files.

Security researchers are welcome. Report anything you find to support@dzra.com and give us a reasonable chance to fix it before disclosing it; we will not pursue good-faith research that follows that route.

5. How we enforce this

Depending on what has happened, we may ask you to remove a listing, unpublish a store while we look into it, suspend an account, or close it and report the matter. We act immediately and without notice where there is fraud, illegality or a real risk of harm to buyers; otherwise we will tell you what the problem is and give you a chance to fix it.

If you believe we have got it wrong, reply to the notice we send you. A person will read it.

6. Reporting a store

To report a store selling something on this list, or behaving fraudulently, write to support@dzra.com with the store address and what you saw. Reports are treated confidentially.
