About

Built in Accra, for shops that outgrew the DM.

Thousands of Ghanaian businesses sell brilliantly on Instagram, WhatsApp and TikTok. They lose orders not because the demand is missing, but because every sale has to be typed out one message at a time.

The pattern is the same everywhere. A customer asks the price. Then whether the medium is in stock. Then how much delivery to Adenta costs. Somewhere in that thread the merchant is asleep, or cooking, or serving someone else — and the customer buys elsewhere. The ones that do come through arrive as a Mobile Money screenshot, a name, and an address in three separate messages, to be reconciled later from memory.

Dzra exists to take that whole conversation and turn it into a link. The customer browses what is actually in stock, chooses their size, picks their delivery area, sees the real total and pays. The merchant gets an order with the money already confirmed, the address attached and the stock adjusted. The relationship stays on WhatsApp, where Ghanaian commerce lives. The transaction stops living there.

What we care about

The rules the software is actually written to.

Not marketing lines — these are the reasons some obvious shortcuts were not taken.

  • Money is never approximate

Every amount in Dzra is a whole number of pesewas, and every total a customer pays is calculated on our servers at the moment of payment. A price cannot drift, round oddly or be edited in a browser.

  • Paid means the bank said so

An order becomes paid when the payment provider tells us it is, over a signed notification we verify. A customer landing back on your page proves nothing, so we do not treat it as proof.

  • Your shop is yours alone

Merchant data is separated at every level. Your products, orders and customers are scoped to your business and cannot be reached from anyone else’s session, ever.

  • Fast on a real phone

We build for a mid-range Android on a patchy connection, because that is what your customers are holding. Pages are light, fonts are self-hosted, and there is no heavy code to download before the shop appears.

  • Narrow, and finished

We would rather do the loop from browse to delivered properly than do ten things half way. Features we have not built are listed openly instead of promised.

Where we are

Dzra is early. The loop from a customer opening your link to you handing over the goods works end to end, and that is the part we have spent our time on. Plenty of things a bigger platform has, we do not have yet — cash on delivery, a till for a physical shop, custom domain names — and we would rather say so than let you find out after you have moved your catalogue across.

If something is missing that would decide it for you, tell us. At this size, what merchants ask for is genuinely what gets built next.
